Welcome to Karn Severson Richoux's website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Theatre Technology at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and the Technical Director at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.
I received my M.F.A. in Technical Production of Theatre from Florida State University, where I met my husband and fellow Technical Director, Robert Richoux. We lived in Austin, TX for 3 years, where I expanded my love of teaching the next generation of theatre technicians and artists at McCallum Fine Arts Academy.
Originally from Minnesota, I went to Hamline University in St. Paul, and worked for 4 summers at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse in Bemidji. I spend my summers in Minnesota to reconnect with friends and family, enjoy the weather, and to eat as many cheese curds as possible!
Please take a look at my resume and portfolio, and contact me with any questions!
