Class Project Examples
This is info for the Tibbs the Safety Mouse project that I learned from another student while in grad school at Florida State University. I drew up the first file for another alum to explain it, and recently added a bit more notes in red. We think it started at SUNY Oswego with his mentor, and do not know why it is called Tibbs, but another classmate of ours made it an acronym for Teaching Introductory Basic Building Skills!

This is info for the chicken sewing project I have adapted for 3 different schools.
Seams can be hand sewn if you do not have a sewing machine, just do a running stitch! Can add the back stitch or machine sewing for the wing decoration if you want, I do NOT have my high schoolers do the wings, and the college students do a single curve only as the wing was very hard to do on the machine in my example! ![]()
